Perfect Pitch Publishing Signs Radical Son
“Radical Son is a force — on stage, in the studio, and in spirit,” says Clive Hodson, managing director and co-founder of PPP.

Radical Son is the latest addition to the Perfect Pitch Publishing roster.
The musical project of David Leha, Radical Son is now represented by Perfect Pitch on a worldwide basis.
“Radical Son is a force — on stage, in the studio, and in spirit,” says Clive Hodson, managing director and co-founder of PPP.
Hodson is a long-time admirer of the “raw authenticity of his music, his words, and his performances,” he continues.
Proudly hailing from the Kamilaroi nation of Australia and the South Pacific nation of Tonga, Leha is a commanding presence with a voice “that both stirs the soul and strikes the heart,” reads a statement from the independent music publisher.

Blending hip-hop and soul, Radical Son has released two albums: Cause N’Affect (2014) and Bilambiyal (2024).
The latter was created in collaboration with a team that includes Full Circle Audio, Marcus Longfoot, Andy Robinson, David Bridie, Frank Yamma, and Emma Donovan.
A festival favourite around the country, he has graced stages at Bluesfest, St Kilda Festival, VIVID, the AFL Dreamtime Game (2023), and the official Uncle Archie Roach memorial in Melbourne (2022), and landed credits in film, TV and theatre.
Along the way, he appeared in the powerful NITV documentary series Defining Moments, landed a starring role as Pemulwuy in I Am Eora at the 2012 Sydney Festival, and, in 2024, nabbed the lead role of Mubarn (Clever Man) in the WA Opera’s Noongar opera Wundig wer Wilura.
That production featured music by composers and PPP writers Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse, with fellow PPP writer Jarred Wall (aka Boox Kid) in the title role of Wundig.
Established in 2014 by Hodson and director Peter Paterson, PPP currently represents upwards of 25,000 copyrights. Earlier this year, the business signed separate licensing agreements with The Voice 2024 champion Reuben De Melo and with Leah Flanagan.
