UNDR Ctrl founder Paul Stix and Sydney hospitality and entertainment industry figure Raul Gonzales have partnered to launch new full-service creative and marketing agency Tropicool.

Announced today, Tropicool uses Stix and Gonzales' collective expertise to offer publicity, brand management, experiential marketing, event management, and artist management services.

Tropicool has hit the ground running, having already conceptualised, managed, activated and enlisted brand partners for the Rüfüs Du Sol album launch event – held on a floating pontoon overlooking Sydney’s Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Rounding out the Tropicool team are photographer Ari Pashalis, videographer Andre Vasquez, and most notably Angela Khoudair, who will head up the PR division.

Khoudair's eight-years experience has seen her manage public relations for The Iconic, and was more recently Senior Publicist for top lifestyle PR agency, Portobello PR working on clients such as Abrand Jeans, The Critical Slide Society and Peppermayo.

“We are excited to launch this collective of story tellers,” said Raul Gonzales. “Tropicool will offer great value for clients, bringing innovative and cost-effective concepts and campaigns to life, whilst creating real time experiences for consumers and brands.

"We wanted to put together our respective experience in marketing and PR and create a one-stop-shop that specialises in the industries we are very passionate about.”
