Our Golden Friend has announced a new signing to its roster.

This week the management collective confirmed Ella Ion as its latest recruit, which coincides with the announcement of the Adelaide-based artist's debut international show.

Ion will perform at The George Tavern in London on March 4th, where she will be joined by Catrin Vincent and more guests yet to be announced.

More international dates are expected to be locked in shortly.

Our Golden Friend owner and director, Lorrae McKenna, first saw Ion play in her home town last August and was quick to find her March 2023-released debut album, Waiting.

Ion has previously performed at BIGSOUND and SXSW Sydney.

“I have never been a conformist to music scene culture or felt the need to fit into a particular scene," Ion said.

"I believe listeners are yearning for a deeper dive into the emotional fervency of music, great lyricism and poetry. I am a huge advocate for transformational, touching experiences through music that empower listeners to think deeply and contemplatively, and to be changed by what they consume."

Ion joins Our Golden Friend's management roster that already boasts the likes of RVG, Good Morning, Bonnie Knight and Coldwave.
