Nightlife Music have announced a partnership with global electronics giant AOPEN, which they explain is "a strategic play designed to take the company’s services to a global audience."

Nightlife will first use New Zealand as a test market, before expanding elsewhere.

AOPEN are a major electronics manufacturer and one of the world's leading providers of commercial grade products, operating in over 100 markets worldwide.

Nightlife Music CEO, David O'Rourke, says the partnership is vital in rolling out their new crowdDJ app globally. The app taps into a user's Spotify accounts and allows them to control the music at a public venue.

"Over the past 12 months we've rolled crowdDJ® out to more than 800 sites across Australia, with over five million user engagements. It's allowing us to scale much more rapidly, and expand internationally," Mr O'Rourke said.

CrowdDJ will integrate with AOPEN’s MeldCX product. In addition
to the mobile app, the service can be accessed through AOPEN's Google Chrome-powered touchscreen kiosks.
