More music acts for speedway races

Organisers of speedway races and hot rod/classic car events continue to use rock music as live entertainment to draw younger audiences.

In the latest, The Veronicas and NT act Dr. Elephant will be headliner performers at the three-day Red CentreNATS in Alice Springs.

The twins top the Rock and Rumble bill on Saturday night (September 1) and Dr. Elephant the Podium Party on Sunday evening (September 2).

Later this week four major acts plug in their amps at the V8 Supercars - Watpac Townsville 400.

Hoodoo Gurus and The Baby Animals play at the Watpac SuperTop on Friday July 6, behind the Supercars Paddock.

John Farnham and Daryl Braithwaite take to the stage on the Saturday.

Both concerts will be presented by 4T0 FM, part of the Triple M Network.
