Madonna to Mark Album Anniversary with New EP

Madonna will commemorate the 30th anniversary of her 1994 album Bedtime Stories with a comprehensive EP release featuring previously unreleased material.

Bedtime Stories – The Untold Chapter, set for release on November 28th, showcases eight tracks from the original album sessions in alternate forms, including early demos, fresh mixes, and remixes (as per Rolling Stone).

The EP features new interpretations of Madonna's hit singles from the era, with an Allstar New Single Mix of "Secret" and a Howie Tee New Clean Edit of "Human Nature" both included. Original demo edits of "Don't Stop" and "Right on Time" offer insight into the creative process behind the acclaimed album, while a short mix of "Freedom" surfaces from the Bedtime Stories sessions, though it was ultimately released on a 1997 rainforest benefit album.

Madonna has already shared her original demo edit of "Right on Time" ahead of the EP's full release, providing fans with their first taste of the unreleased material. The track represents one of several long-rumoured demos that will finally see official release through The Untold Chapter. Listen below.

Previously unreleased compositions "Let Your Guard Down" and "Love Won't Wait" will make their debut on the collection. Notably, "Love Won't Wait" was later recorded and released by Take That's Gary Barlow in 1997.

The release will be available across multiple formats to cater to different preferences. Digital editions will launch alongside standalone vinyl pressings, while a comprehensive 2CD reissue will pair The Untold Chapter with the original Bedtime Stories album. Additionally, the original album will receive a special silver vinyl pressing on the same date. All formats are currently available for pre-order here.

Earlier this year, she unveiled her long-shelved Veronica Electronica remix album, originally planned as a companion to Ray of Light but never released.
