Billboard pundits predict that Lorde is on track to score her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 this weekend.

The industry magazine forecasts that Melodrama should sell 80,000 to 90,000 equivalent album units by Sunday's chart. Her debut album 'Pure Heroine' reached a #3 peak on the chart in 2013.

Of course this won't mark Lorde's first chart-topper in America, with her breakthrough single 'Royals' spending nine weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2013, selling over ten million copies worldwide.
