Sixteen-year-old New Zealander Lorde has hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart, knocking Wrecking Ball off the top spot.
This is the second week she has topped the digital download sales chart in the US, selling 294,000 downloads during the seven-day period.
This is the latest in a string of remarkable achievements for the young artist, with Royals enjoying the longest reign in the history of the Alternative Songs chart, with seven weeks on top.
