Latest signings at New World, 123 Agency & new team-ups

Two signings, one new ambassador and a huge mule.

Singer-songwriter Ro, whose latest single F**ked Up Over You has been picked up on triple j, has signed for live bookings to New World Artists (NWA).

Hailing from Margaret River (WA) and now based in Melbourne, her confessional debut single Diary generated 50,000 streams and airplay on triple j and major community stations. She also put in a standout showcase at BIGSOUND.

Ro is repped at NWA by Dom Miller who says, “Every now and again we come across a musician who is the true definition of “artist”. When I first saw Ro perform and heard her music on a cold Sunday night in Brisbane’s Junk Bar, I found myself in the presence of one of those performers; a true artist."


Melbourne hip hop artist DEX, who’s now changed his name to Dexter Seamus, has assigned live bookings to 123 Agency (repped by Jimmy Kleiner) and his management to Handshake MGMT.

He follows up his breakthrough single 4am (featuring Allday) which has now earned over 1.1 million streams on Spotify, with Favourite Colour (feat. Esoterik of Bliss n Eso) issued under his new moniker.


Lee Kernaghan is the official ambassador for 2019 Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth.

His association with the festival goes back to the ‘80s when he attended as a punter with his father Ray Kernaghan and was crowned Star Maker in 1982.

As part of its 5th-anniversary celebrations, Beyond The Valley festival (regional Victoria, December 28—January 1) is teaming with premium Australian blenders Baxter Vodka for an Official Guinness World Record attempt to mix the largest ever Moscow Mule.

The bid will see 429 bottles of Baxter Vodka, 800 litres of ginger beer and 100 litres of lime juice going into the 1200 litre Moscow Mule.

That’s over 6,500 Moscow Mules distributed from the one mix!
