Beyond the Valley is set to return for its 10th edition.

Organised by Untitled Group, the festival’s theme for 2025, “It Gets Better,” follows on from last year’s “Life in Technicolour” and was introduced through a launch video depicting a corporate environment where workers seek escape.

Filippo Palermo, Untitled Group Co-Founder and Managing Partner, said, “Reaching Beyond The Valley’s 10th edition is something we’re incredibly proud of. What started as an idea between a few mates has grown into one of Australia’s biggest and most unique events, welcoming tens of thousands each year from across the country and overseas.

"This year we’ll be celebrating the music, art and community that has shaped the festival into an important piece of Australian culture. Our team is excited to share the biggest and most innovative BTV production to date.”

Last year’s festival featured performances from big names like Confidence Man, Royel Otis, Ice Spice, Sugababes, and Fisher.

2024 also saw Beyond The Valley land on DJ Mag’s list of Top 100 Festivals for 2024 – the only Australian event to make the cut. BTV lands at No. 92 on a tally that’s predictably dominated by EDM festivals.

The 2025 event will take place from December 28 to January 1 at Barunah Plains, Victoria, on Wadawurrung and Eastern Maar lands. Ticket and lineup details will be announced soon.

In other festival news, the Good Things Festival 2025 lineup has been announced, headlined by Tool, Weezer, and Garbage. The lineup also includes Refused’s final Australian shows and a performance by James Reyne. Meanwhile, the Harvest Rock Festival is set to return to Adelaide this October, though its lineup announcement has been postponed. However, it is expected that The Strokes will be part of the bill.
