A new all-ages music festival to launch in Victoria

Victoria has a brand new music festival, with Land of Plenty set to debut on Saturday, November 2 in Shepparton (two hours drive from Melbourne).

The all-ages festival is a partnership between Red Hill Entertainment, Greater Shepparton City Council and Shepparton Show Me.

Land of Plenty covers major bands and DJs, upcoming local artists, art displays, market stalls, gourmet food vans and carnival rides.

The lineup will be kept secret until Tuesday, May 14 and runs the gamut from hip hop to rock and indie.

Organisers have dropped hints about the two headliners.

They “have previously featured in the coveted triple j Hottest 100 countdown fifteen times, and each have even featured in the Top 10.”

A Shepparton act has the chance to be on the big stage.

The festival already has the support of the local community: asked about having a festival in their district, 500+ sent in submissions, wanting to name the event, design its artwork and shape it.  

Red Hill Entertainment is owned and operated by music and events companies The Hills Are Alive Group (THAA Group) and Unified Music Group.

They also put on the heavy music camping fest UNIFY Gathering.
