CW: This article mentions rape and sexual abuse

A new layer had been added to Kesha's ongoing battle against Doctor Luke has been revealed. In new documents obtained by The Blast, Doctor Luke has alleged that Kesha once accused him of raping Katy Perry in a text to Lady Gaga.

The documents have been previously referenced, showing that Kesha alleged Doctor Luke of raping an "unspecified female recording artist."

The new documents show that Kesha texted Lady Gaga on February 26, 2016. They read in part, “On February 16 2016, Defendant sent a text message to Stefani Germanotta p/k/a/ Lady Gaga which repeated Defendant’s false claim that Gottwald had raped her. In this text message, Defendant also falsely asserted that Gottwald had also raped Kathryn Hudson p/k/a/ Katy Perry.”

Doctor Luke's attorneys have accused Gaga of helping Kesha in spreading “negative messages about Gottwald in the press and on social media” in what they describe as a "hate campaign". Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are yet to comment on this situation.

Early last year, Kesha was denied the possibility of amending counterclaims made against her, that argue she "tarnished" Doctor Luke's name with ongoing sexual abuse allegations.
