Keith Urban has been announced as one of four new advisors for the 15th season of The Voice USA, which premieres on September 24

Urban will help out judge Blake Shelton.

The Nashville-based Australian-bred superstar was one of the original coaches of The Voice Australia in 2012 alongside Delta Goodrem, Seal and Joel Madden.

The other new advisers on the US show are Halsey joining Jennifer Hudson’s team, original coach CeeLo Green for Team Adam Levine, and country music singer-songwriter Thomas Rhett helping out Kelly Clarkson.

Urban’s Australian tour in January and February has been another success with Brisbane, Melbourne and Newcastle selling out.

Promoter TEG Live yesterday added new shows in Brisbane (Entertainment Centre, February 1) and Melbourne (Rod Laver Arena, February 6)
