EXCLUSIVE: Jack River signs international record deal with Nettwerk Music Group

Jack River (signed to I OH YOU ANZ) has signed an international record deal with Canada's Nettwerk Music Group, The Industry Observer can exclusively reveal. Today also sees the premiere of the video for "Confess" from Jack River's Aria Nominated debut album Sugar Mountain.

Jack River - real name Holly Rankin - joins a roster of artists including Angus & Julia Stone, Linying, Mallrat and Passenger at the label. Rachel Cragg who works at Nettwerk in A&R was involved in the signing and says "It’s rare to find an artist like Jack River who has such a strong vision for who they are. Holly is a true talent, and we’re beyond excited to have her join the Nettwerk family and help share her music around the world."

Holly Rankin has had a massive year, touring worldwide behind her debut album Sugar Mountain, and being nominated for three ARIA awards. The new video for "Confess" is a collaboration between Rankin and director Imogen Grist. It features footage from family and friends weddings and is inspired by '80s wedding videos.
