GYRO Group Expands Into Latin America With Brazil Office Launch
GYRO Group has opened its first physical office in Brazil today, in partnership with leading local operator MusicStream.

GYRO Group has officially expanded into Latin America.
The recently rebranded Australian-headquartered company behind white-label distribution platform DistroDirect and DIY platform G.Y.R.O. - Get Your Record Out, has opened its first physical office in Brazil today (March 27th), in partnership with leading local operator MusicStream.
Located in Santos, São Paulo the new office represents GYRO's commitment to serving artists, labels, and music businesses across the region with on-the-ground expertise.
CEO Andy Irvine said Latin America has long been one of the most exciting and underserved regions in the global music industry. He said that while GYRO has been representing artists and labels in Brazil for "a number of years now", opening the doors there "is a statement of intent", adding: "We are here to build something lasting with the music community, to connect incredible local talent with global opportunities, and to do it with the infrastructure and expertise that artists and labels deserve.”
MusicStream will operate as DistroDirect’s premium services division in LATAM, supporting labels, record companies, white-label distributors, and YouTube channel networks. MusicStream's CEO, and Head of Operations for DistroDirect in LATAM, Samuel Fernandes will lead the Santos office.
With extensive experience in international music markets and artist development, Fernandes oversees day-to-day operations, artist and label relations, and media positioning across the region. The Santos office will provide comprehensive support for artists, labels, and DistroDirect customers - spanning label and distributor management, release planning, press and media relations, digital marketing, international catalogue expansion, and personalised artist support.
“We’re bringing tools and support that were previously out of reach for most artists and labels here, and we’re doing it with people who understand this market from the inside," he said. "The energy in the local industry right now is extraordinary, and we’re ready to be part of it.”

According to GYRO, the Brazilian market is on track to reach US$1 billion by 2027, hitting 21.7% growth, making it a cornerstone of the company's commercial strategy. Chief Commercial Officer Matthew Rogers explained: “The appetite for professional distribution services is real, and our partnership with Sam and his team as key regional players positions us to deliver results from day one. This office is where those relationships become tangible.”
