George Ezra honoured in Sydney for ARIA Platinum 'Shotgun'

Fresh off his performance at the 2018 ARIA Awards, George Ezra stopped by Sony Music Entertainment’s Sydney office for a special plaque presentation.

Denis Handlin AO, Sony Music chairman and CEO Australia and NZ, president Asia, along with members of the Sony team, presented the UK hitmaker with framed mementos for his 4x ARIA Platinum single ‘Shotgun’ and Gold single Paradise.

Ezra's manager Ryan Lofthouse was also in attendance.

‘Shotgun’ has been a revelation for Ezra in Australia, reaching #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart while also topping the TMN Hot 100 airplay chart for four straight weeks.

Ezra will return to Australia in 2019 for a five-date headline tour commencing in Perth on January 25.
