Young Victorians have been invited to share their ideas - big or small - on what the future of Australia's music industry should look like.

Youth music organisation The Push, with support from the Victorian Government's Victorian Music Industry Recovery Program, is looking for ideas around music, tech, drugs, alcohol, fashion and media.

The best submissions will score a seat at the table at the Online Ideas Exchange, a one-day event which includes meeting with representatives from Depop, Vanessa, Live Nation and more.

The findings from the event will then be tabled with the Victorian Government in a bid to guide and influence how they can work to create a better future for the music industry.

Youngsters sharing their visions will also enter the Future of Music competition and go into the draw to win 1 of 50 cash cards to spend on Depop, two tickets to a Live Nation show, plus a merch pack from Vanessa.

Australian artists Alex Lahey, Dallas Woods and Alice Ivy are on board to support the campaign.

Ivy shared her idea for what the industry should be working towards.

"I really do believe that the future of music will be more diverse and inclusive, smaller towns and cities will have more accessible venues for bands to play at," she said.

Submissions are open to Victorians aged 13 to 25, and will close at 11:59pm (AEST) on Thursday, July 15.
