Former Spotify exec Andrea Ingham heading to BuzzFeed to lead business partnerships

Andrea Ingham, whose exit from Spotify Australia and New Zealand head of sales was announced yesterday, is heading to BuzzFeed Australia.

She takes over as its inaugural vice president of business partnerships in October, continuing to be based in Sydney.

She is experienced with sourcing new brand partnerships and advertising products and will work with BuzzFeed’s entire portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.

These include BuzzFeed Originals, BuzzFeed News and media brands such as Tasty, As/Is, Bring Me!, Goodful and Nifty.

Ingham was head of sales for Spotify in Australia and New Zealand for three years.

Before that, she was national sales director at Southern Cross Austereo and also worked at Nine and Nova Entertainment.

She reports to Matt Drinkwater, senior vice president of international brand strategy in the US.

Drinkwater says, “Andrea brings a wealth of sales and management experience and a breadth of knowledge from across the media landscape that will take BuzzFeed’s business to the next level in Australia.”
