Melbourne artist and producer Woodes, aka Elle Graham, has had her eponymous debut EP enter at #1 in the iTunes Alternative Chart in Singapore.

Additionally, the EP debuted at #24 in the overall Singapore Album chart and entered at #10 in the Spanish Alternative iTunes chart.

Woodes has been collecting international accolades all year. Her single The Thaw, the second single from the EP, cracked the Top 50 in Russia and debuted at #12 on the iTunes Norway Alternative Chart.

The 24-year-old has also been profiled heavily across Spotify and included in various Australian and Scandinavian playlists, including The Indie Mixtape, New Music Norway, New Music Deutschland and Spotify Finland.

Most notably though, in September Woodes signed to the UK’s Coda Agency. TMN revealed Coda agent Michael Harvey-Bray is handling all of Woodes’ bookings throughout the UK and Europe.

Speaking to TMN about success in Singapore, Woodes said:

“The international response for the whole EP has been overwhelming. It’s amazing to see people finding and supporting the EP all around the world.

“When I was making this record in my bedroom I never expected it to chart in Singapore, Spain, Norway, Russia and Finland. We are excited to build our international team to make the most of the amazing response.”

The news comes as Woodes readies her national support tour with Ngaiire along the East Coast of Australia.
