Aussie singer-songwriter Olympia has been added to the lineup for two Northern Hemisphere festivals.

TMN can exclusively reveal that she will perform at UK festival Latitude.

Established in 2006, Latitude will take place in Suffolk, England from July 18-July 21.

"I am overwhelmed by the response UK and European audiences have had to the work - on this last tour especially," Olympia tells TMN.

"Australia is a very difficult place to be making music at the moment, however, it does feel like some of this hard work is paying off for us overseas."

The Aussie joins the likes of George Ezra, Lana Del Rey and Snow Patrol among the musical acts to play the festival, which also features stand-up comics, theatre, art, and literature performances.

In addition, Olympia will bring her live show to Germany's Reeperbahn Festival in September.

"We've had such a great time in the UK in the past, however this will be my first time on Latitude festival.

"I am yet to play somewhere with a Viking history so there is still room to grow in the UK."

The festival announcements follow the recent release of Olympia's 'Hounds', lifted from her forthcoming second record Flamingo.

"We'd set out to make a really ambitious record," she added.

"It's unlike anything else out at the moment and we knew it was a risk, but it's just being so well received in these territories."

The new album will be released July 5 off the back of touring the UK and Europe in support of Julia Jacklin.
