Sydney-based bookers Maker Agency came down with a severe bout of Saturday Night Fever and the only cure was signing '70s inspired duo Groove City.

The pair have already dominated the likes of Lost Paradise and Groovin' The Moo, now Maker Agency is taking care of their upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour.

"Maker are thrilled to be working with Groove City! The resurgence of disco is so prevalent and the guys have done a fantastic job putting the project together and we’re really excited to explore it further with them," Maker Agency's Dan Morgan said.

"It’s a true testament to how far they’ve come and how much the project has evolved in the last 12 months going from playing club shows at World Bar and side stage at Lost Paradise to selling out their own headline performance at Oxford Art Factory and moving to the main stage at Lost Paradise this year.

The future is bright for the disco duo and we see no signs of slowing down in 2019 and beyond."

The outfit, also known as Daniel Andalaro and Calum Mawson, are similarly stoked to be working with the agency.

“We are very excited to be joining the best booking agency in the world," said Andalaro and Mawson.

"Maker have believed in us since we first launched this project - and we couldn't think of a better match for our disco odyssey moving forward."
