As Ed Sheeran's 'Shape Of You' sits at #1 on the singles chat for a fifteenth week, the album from which it was plucked, ÷, has likewise sat at pole position for far too long -- eight straight weeks -- denying Amy Shark's 'Night Thinker' EP from debuting at #1 on the ARIA Albums chart.

Instead Shark will have to be pleased with a #2 debut, an incredible result considering 'Night Thinker' isn't actually an album at all.

Other strong debuts this week came from the Guardians Of The Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 2, which entered at #3, and Allday, whose second album Speeding had a speedy start to the week sales-wise, with mid-week projections suggesting a #3 debut. It came in a few places lower at #6; an impressive result, but not as high an entry as his debut Startup Cult, which hit #3 in July, 2014.

Lower in the charts, Incubus have shown they still have a rabid Aussie fanbase eight album in, as their album (8) debuts at #20.
