Sydney-based indie ORiGiN Music Group has signed Australian band Crocodylus on global deals, The Music Network can exclusively announce.
The Sydney garage-punk outfit have signed global record deal and publishing deals, which will see will see the quartet release new music under the ORiGiN Recordings banner, while the songwriting catalogue will be represented by ORiGiN Music Publishing.
They join the ORiGiN Recordings roster that already boasts the likes of Moby, Meg Washington, Deep Sea Arcade and Tim Finn.
The announcement comes ahead of the release of Crocodylus' first new music for 2025, "Limbo", dropping on Tuesday.
“We’re stoked to welcome Crocodylus to the ORiGiN family with global publishing and recording deals. From the second we heard their new single 'Limbo' we were hooked," the ORiGiN team told The Music Network.
"The band and manager Daniel Radburn have done a tremendous job building a cult-like following over the past few years. The new record is killer, we can’t wait to help spread the word far and wide about Crocodylus.”
Crocodylus drummer, Mikel Salvador Jara, added: “As well as being aware of the work they’ve done with other bands we admire. We feel very fortunate to be able to announce Crocodylus signing with Origin, as an independent band it’s great to be supported by a group with a similar ethos and intent.”
