The Boss made a very lucrative sweep of Australia recently with his latest tour bringing in over $50m.

Sprinsgteen and the E Street Band played 12 Australian and 2 New Zealand stadium shows; the tour commencing on January 22 with three sell-out dates in Perth.

Billboard reports that 261,184 punters attended the Australasian leg of the tour, with the two nights at Melbourne's 30,000 seat AAMI Park being the most lucrative, bringing in $9.7m alone.

Springsteen has grossed $136m in Australia and New Zealand over the past five years - which suggests that he'll probably be back before too long. His most recent tour was in 2014, in support of his most recent studio album, High Hopes.
