BMG continues to earn its place as the world’s fourth biggest music publisher.

The company has signed Brisbane alt-rock band Dead Letter Circus to a worldwide recording deal; adding to the pair's global publishing deal they inked in 2017.

The news comes just days after the five-piece released their first new music in three years; ‘The Armour You Own’ is the first single from their upcoming LP, due out later in the year.

Heath Johns, Managing Director, BMG Australia and New Zealand said:

"We are beyond thrilled to partner with Sean and our friends at Rise on this incredible record from Dead Letter Circus. BMG Australia's core mission is to take Australian music to the world and this is a perfect example of our team backing up our talk with meaningful action. We can't wait for the world to hear this new music."

Rise Records will release the band's music in North America through the imprint deal Rise inked with BMG back in 2015.

Sean Heydorn, Vice President, Rise Records said:

“We’ve been fans of DLC for a while - so when the opportunity to work with the band was brought to us by our Australian counterparts at BMG we were very excited. The band has a great history, and hearing the new music it is clear this next chapter is going to be really special.”
