Australian radio’s 15 most influential music minds out this week

TMN is gearing up to release the first edition of its Top 15 most influential music minds in Australian radio.

In collaboration with the Australian music industry, names from across the country have been selected and ranked according to reputation, credibility, market size, experience and format competitiveness.

These are the people that have unearthed and broken Aussie artists like Sheppard, Peking Duk and Jordie Ireland.   

“Music on-air forms a station’s identity and builds loyalty with an audience,” says head of Chugg Music Andrew Stone.

From there, the best music minds in radio can “curate a balance of what their target audience is already like, and what they might like in the future".

The list is split across several networks, with six faces from SCA, five from NOVA Entertainment, and two from both ARN and ABC making up the Top 15.
