Mark Muggeridge has announced he is leaving Chugg Music after nearly 10 years with the company.

Muggeridge, who has worked as Head of Touring for the last five years, said it is time for "new adventures" in a statement.

"Working alongside Andrew [Stone] and Michael [Chugg] to build one of Australia's most dynamic independent music companies has been a genuine privilege. It's rare to help take an organisation from startup energy to becoming one of the country's most respected artist and audience development powerhouse," he wrote.

"Working with Andrew Stone sharpened my instincts. His ability to identify the precise moment to activate was unparalleled, and he pushed our team beyond conventional limits. Every time, his timing proved correct. The artist manager I've become emerged through that collaboration—learning from one of the best in the business.

"Michael Chugg's approach to leadership is masterclass material. For nine and a half years, before sharing his perspective, he asked for mine first. Think about that: one of the world's most legendary promoters actively seeking input, then empowering you to execute when your strategy proved sound. That's how you build high-performing teams."

Muggeridge joined Chugg Music in 2017 as a digital marketing specialist, before taking on roles including Label Manager and Accounts Manager, and eventually Head of Touring in 2021.

Muggeridge is yet to announce his next venture.

"What's next? I'm seeking organisations ready to capture that opportunity—whether independent powerhouses scaling up or established companies innovating their touring operations," he said.

"My focus: management with developing artists, international touring strategy for export-ready acts, and building teams that execute at the highest level."
