Artists and venues confirmed for Roady4Roadies

Live entertainment with BBQ's, prizes and Roadie Games for the kids.

The acts and venues have been revealed for the inaugural Roady4Roadies.

The family-orientated event, to raise funds and awareness for road crews, is o be held on Sunday, March 10 in all the capital cities except for Adelaide where it's on Sunday, March 24.

In each city, the day begins with a leisurely walk by 300 members of the public and industry, live entertainment and a fun afternoon with BBQ's, prizes, Roadie Games for the kids, awards, speeches and events as Crewathlon the friendly battle between roadie teams.

MELBOURNE

The line-up at the Palais Theatre is Mark Seymour, Dave Graney & the mistLY, J.R. Reyne, Sisters Doll and Jarosite.

Doors open at 12.30pm, with the show starting at 12.40pm and running through to 3.20pm.  Tickets $20 at the door.

SYDNEY

Due to demand, the Sydney event has been moved to the Bridge Hotel in Rozelle with the walk along the Inner West’s beautiful “Bay Run”.

Registration takes place at the Bridge Hotel from 10.30am with the line-up including Mark Callaghan and Buzz Bidstrup from GANGgajang.

PERTH

The walk begins at The Lucky Shag, then follows the banks of the Swan with a pit stop at The Point Bar & Grill. We then continue to The Camfield where entertainment features Darren Reid and friends.

BRISBANE

Commences at the Entertainment Centre (Carpark 4) at 10.30am, before heading through surrounding parklands.

Tyrone Noonan will be headlining the live entertainment.

ADELAIDE

Assemble at 11.30am at Creswell Gardens (East gate of Adelaide Oval) and commence walk at 12.00 noon through parklands to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre where the Australian Music Collective SA will induct industry legend Frank Castel into SA Music Hall of Fame.

Live performances by Kelly's Wayke, Darren Constable and Pigsy.
