Apple Music arrives on Alexa devices in Australia

Amazon smart speaker owners can access Apple Music's 50 million songs, plus albums, playlists & radio stations.

Apple Music is finally available to stream on Amazon Alexa voice-activated devices in Australia and New Zealand.

Aussie and NZ subscribers will now be able to access the 50 million songs available on Apple Music, through Amazon's range of devices including Alexa, Echo Dot, Echo Plus and Echo Show.

To play a song, album, artist or playlist, listeners need simply request it vocally. Expert radio stations focussed on popular genres will also be accessible.

Customers can also Ask Alexa to play Beats 1 to hear Apple Music’s global live stream including in-depth artist interviews— all completely ad-free.

The launch of Apple Music on Amazon devices in Australia and New Zealand follow the UK launch recently.

To start listening and enable the Apple Music skill, simply link a user Apple Music account via the skills store, Alexa app or amazon.com.au.
