Apple Music's Global Year-End Chart for 2025 has revealed the streaming platform's most dominant tracks, with collaborations taking centre stage across multiple categories.

As per Rolling Stone, the annual charts showcase a year dominated by powerhouse partnerships and repeat chart success from established artists.

Rosé and Bruno Mars claimed the top position with "APT.", which secured number one across four separate Apple Music charts including Top Songs of 2025: Global, Top 100: Shazam, Top 100: Global Radio, and Top 100: Lyrics. Released in October 2024, the track has become a massive streaming success and earned Grammy nominations for both Song and Record of the Year at the 2026 ceremony.

Kendrick Lamar and SZA secured second place with "luther", which experienced significant streaming growth following their Super Bowl performance earlier this year. The collaboration demonstrates the lasting impact of major televised performances on streaming numbers.

Kendrick's dominance extends beyond his SZA collaboration, with the rapper claiming five positions in the top 25 — more than any other artist on Apple Music's Global Year-End Chart. His May 2024 Drake diss track "Not Like Us" sits at number four, while SZA follows as the second most-represented artist with three songs in the top 25.

Grammy-nominated Best New Artist nominees made their mark across multiple chart categories. Lola Young secured high positions with "Messy" on both the Shazam and Global Radio charts, while Alex Warren achieved similar success with "Ordinary".

The streaming service's year-end data coincides with the launch of Apple Replay '25, allowing users to review their personal listening habits throughout the year. The comprehensive chart system spans multiple categories including Global Radio, Shazam discoveries, and user-generated content through lyrics and singing features.
