Allday nabs triple j feature album spot with 'Starry Night Over The Phone'
It's a huge week for triple j listeners, with additions from the likes of Allday, Bad//Dreems, Ali Barter, and Tyne-James Organ.

Listeners are in for a huge week of tunes on triple j, with the likes of Ali Barter, Bad//Dreems, and Madeon all being added to the playlist, while Allday reigns supreme with the feature album.
If you’ve been on the look-out for a nice dose of stunning Aussie tunes, then it seems you’ve got no further to go than just your radio dial, with triple j bringing in the goods this week.
This week sees none other than Adelaide-born, Los Angeles-based rapper Allday scoring the feature album slot on triple j, with his third album – Starry Night Over The Phone – receiving the station's weekly honour.
Coming two years on from 2017's Speeding, the station notes that the new record sees "Allday getting back into the underdog mindset and sounding super-vulnerable amid a cloud of woozy guitars and understated beats."
With tracks like 'Lungs', 'Wonder Drug', and The Veronicas-featuring 'Restless', you can be sure this record will be a huge entry into the 2019 list of Aussie albums. Meanwhile, Allday will be performing tracks from the new record when he hits up capital cities next month.

Meanwhile, the rest of the triple j playlist has gotten a bit healthier this week, with additions from the likes of Ali Barter, Joji, and Bad//Dreems, who are set to kick off an Aussie later tour this week.

This week though, we're seeing spots from Shura, Miiesha, Billy Davis, Alfie Templeman, and Green Buzzard, who have just returned with their first new track in a couple of years.
