2025 Screen Music Award Winners Revealed

The winners of the 2025 Screen Music Awards have been revealed at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on Tuesday night.

The winners of the 2025 Screen Music Awards have been revealed.

Taking place at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Tuesday evening, Melbourne-based composer, Cornel Wilczek, was the big winner of the night, taking home the gongs for Best Music for a Television Drama ("Fake") and Best Opening Title Television Theme with Thomas Rouch for the Netflix adaptation of the Jane Harper book, "The Survivors".

Elsewhere, Joff Bush won the Most Performed Screen Composer – Overseas category for ABC juggernaut "Bluey", which he also won in 2023, while Australian favourite Megan Washington won Best Original Song Composed for the Screen for “Dream On” from BINGE's "How to Make Gravy", the film adaptation of Paul Kelly’s iconic Christmas song.

Electric Fields, made a surprise appearance at the ceremony to perform the song, which they also did for the 2024-released film.

Jed Kurzel took out Feature Film Score of the Year for the British period action-drama" Tornado", his fourth win in the category, following "Monkey Man" (2024), "Slow West" (2015) and "Snowtown" (2011).
