Nominations for the 2021 South Australian Music Awards are now open
This year's South Australian Music Awards will go down on Thursday November 18.
The South Australian Music Awards (SAMs) has announced its return for 2021.
The awards ceremony will return to a physical gala event in Adelaide on Thursday November 18, with nominations across all categories now open.
Submissions for the Industry Voted and People's Choice Awards categories will be open from now until midnight Wednesday September 15, while the public vote for the People's Choice Awards will open from Wednesday September 22 via The Music.
Early bird tickets for this year's awards go on sale on September 22.
Music SA's general manager Kim Roberts said that this year's awards would help recognise the toils of the South Australian musical community in light of the effects of the pandemic.
"We can’t wait to see you all at the SAMs," Roberts said.
"It’s been a difficult time for our industry, so the SAM Awards are the perfect way to get together safely to celebrate the SA music community’s achievements over the last year.
