Acclaimed New Zealand singer-songwriter Reb Fountain has signed an international publishing deal with Native Tongue Music Publishing.

News of the publishing deal follows last week's release of Fountain's single 'Heart', the first taste of new material since last year's self-titled LP.

Released through iconic Kiwi label Flying Nun Records, Reb Fountain was awarded the 2021 Taite Music Prize, as well as being shortlisted for the Silver Scroll Award and receiving five nominations at the New Zealand Music Awards.

Fountain said that she was delighted to be working alongside a locally based publishing team for her upcoming releases.

"It’s an honour to be working with a homegrown publisher and the release of my new single 'Heart' is the perfect way to kick off our relationship," Fountain said.

"I look forward to sharing many tunes together in the years to come."

Pennie Black, Native Tongue's general manager for New Zealand, said she's excited to welcome Fountain to the Native Tongue family.
