Mental As Anything spin-off Dog Trumpet sign with Demon Music Group
The band's remastered back catalogue will arrive on streaming platforms and receive a vinyl reissue as part of the new deal.

Cult rockers Dog Trumpet have inked a global record deal with the BBC's Demon Music imprint.
The deal will see the band's seven-record back catalogue pressed to vinyl and remastered for digital release for the first time.
Physical reissues of the band's catalogue, meanwhile, will hit shelves around the world on Friday, October 29.
Comprised of brothers and Mental As Anything founding members Reg Mombassa and Peter O'Doherty, Dog Trumpet was formed in 1990 after Mental As Anything agreed to take a hiatus, with the brothers subsequently leaving the band to pursue Dog Trumpet as their main musical project in 2000.
Both members of Dog Trumpet are also acclaimed visual artists, with Mombassa's work being prominently featured in the branding of Australian clothing brand Mambo.
Founded in 1980 by Andrew Lauder and Jake Riviera, Demon Music Group predominantly deals with back catalogue rights and recording reissues for specialist stores, with other artists to have released music on the imprint including Sparks, Elvis Costello and T. Rex.
Representatives from Dog Trumpet have been approached for further comment on the nature of the band's deal with Demon Music.
