Didirri has inked fresh label and management deals ahead of new music.

The local singer-songwriter - who joined BMG for publishing in 2018 - has signed with Mushroom Group's Liberation Records, and with Greg Carey and Michael Ridgewell for management.

Carey and Ridgewell also manage The Rubens, Urthboy and Mia Wray.

Work has already begun on his long-awaited debut album, with the first single "Begin Again" out on Wednesday (March 30). The song’s lyrics hark at a "blossoming new chapter" for the now Melbourne-based artist. A release date and title for the album are yet to be announced.

Liberation Records' managing director Damian Slevison, said the label is "absolutely thrilled" to be working with Didirri to help take his music to the world.

"He’s an incredibly driven and self-motivated artist, and paired with a stunning collection of new material our team couldn’t be more inspired," Slevison said. "Begin Again is an incredibly apt and poetic way to start this relationship and simply melts you from the very first lines."
