Driven by thumping keys, ‘Drink Too Much’ recalls feelings of sorrow, loneliness and despair experienced by the drummer-singer-producer during her days as a party animal.
The apologetic tone and lowly lyrics are offset by an upbeat musical vibe as the Future Classic artist showcases her vast musical talent and ever-growing songwriting ability.
triple j scored the first spin of this monster track, with the youth broadcaster adding ‘Drink Too Much’ on highest rotation. According to triple j, she rediscovered the song in an old voice memo after penning it years ago following a big night out.
2018 singles ‘About You’ and ‘Killing My Time’ both had moderate success on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart with peaks at #88 and #97, respectively.
