Pop power couple Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello have conspired to knock Lil Nas X off the ARIA Singles Chart summit.

‘Old Town Road (Remix)’ ft. Billy Ray Cyrus looked set to match Ed Sheeran’s record for the most weeks at #1 (‘Shape Of You’ with 15 non-consecutive weeks).

Instead, Mendes & Cabello’s new collab ‘Senorita’ is now in pole position, moving up one frame after spending four weeks in the #2 spot.

It’s Mendes’ first #1 on the Singles Chart, and Cabello’s second after 2017's ‘Havana’ ft. Young Thug.

The track is also dominating radio playlists, having risen to the top of the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart last week, and is also simultaneously #1 on Spotify and Apple Music in Australia.

Looking at the Aussies, Tone And I moves into the podium with ‘Dance Monkey’, following a stellar debut festival performance at Splendour In The Grass.

The triple j favourite, who’ll perform at BIGSOUND later this year, has three songs in the Top 50.

New release ‘Never Seen The Rain’ debuts at #38 and joins ‘Johnny Run Away’ (#15) on the chart.

All three tracks are also impacting radio, placing simultaneously on the most recent TMN Hot 100.

Tones And I is set to drop her debut EP The Kids Are Coming next month, and embarks on a sold-out Australian headline tour in September.
