Six weeks is how long Justin Bieber has held #1 with his record breaking single What Do You Mean?, the lead single from his forthcoming album Purpose. It leads ahead of Robin Schulz’s Sugar, which holds #2 for another week, as does Taylor Swift’s Wildest Dreams at #3.
Ellie Goulding’s On My Mind marks the first bit of movement with a move up to a new peak of #4 from #5. It’s followed by The Weeknd’s latest radio sensation The Hills which is up at #5 from #9. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’sDowntown falls to #6 from #4 while Nelly’s The Fix moves to #7 from #6.
Vance Joy’s Fire And The Flood refuses to fall out of the Top 10 with a move back up to #8 from #10. The former #1 track has now been in the Top 10 for twelve weeks, a new record finally beating previous best Riptide, which peaked at #3 and remained in the Top 10 for eleven weeks. At #9 is the only new entry into the Top 10: Drake’sHotline Bling has been taking over the internet this past week with the release of its music video. It’s his first single to enter the Top 10 since Hold On We’re Going Home in late 2013. R. City’s Locked Away featuring Adam Levine moves up to #10 from #7.
