Record company EMI boasts the three biggest chart movers on the latest TMN Hot 100, providing relief for the Universal-owned label following a recent downturn in airplay across its roster.

Liam Payne & J Balvin’s collab ‘Familiar’ jumped 37 spots to a peak position of #54 in its second charting week, the most upward movement of any single this week.

Promotion around an upcoming appearance in the Nova Red Room has also pushed Aussie act 5 Seconds Of Summer up the chart. 'Youngblood' rose 35 places to #16, handing the band the title of EMI's top artist right now.

Meanwhile, Alison Wonderland enjoyed a great week with ‘Easy’ edging up to #66 from #99.

EMI’s last #1 on the Hot 100 came roughly seven months ago, when ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ by Sam Smith hit the summit for one week in October.

While 2018 looked like quite a contrast to how EMI performed last year - when the label boasted numerous chart-topping acts including Payne’s breakthrough single (‘Strip That Down’ ft. Quavo), Niall Horan (‘Slow Hands’) and Katy Perry (‘Chained To The Rhythm’ ft. Skip Marley) - the tide appears to be turning this month.
