Singer-songwriter George Ezra has pushed through to #1 on the TMN Hot 100 airplay chart for the first time in his career with multi-Platinum single Shotgun.

Ezra takes the place of Aussie Dean Lewis who slips to #3 after a record-breaking eight straight weeks at the top of the chart.

Shotgun, which is also #1 on the Australian iTunes and Apple Music charts, leads the way for spins in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia, totalling 810 plays across the country this week.

The Englishman’s previous successes at Australian radio include Budapest (#8) and Blame It On Me (#9).

Ezra has also announced his return to Australia for a headline tour next year. He’ll play five shows in all major cities starting in Perth on January 25.
