Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes' new hit 'Wonder' is this week's highest debut on the TMN Hot 100 powered by Radio Monitor.

It's also the highest debut of the year (#7), ahead of Lady Gaga with 'Stupid Love' (#10) in March.

The only other artists to debut in the Top 10 on the official airplay chart are Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Delta Goodrem, P!NK, Kings Of Leon, Kylie Minogue and Katy Perry.

'Wonder' is the first track to be lifted from his fourth studio album of the same name (out December 4), and was written by Mendes, Scott Harris, Thomas Hull and Nate Mercereau, and produced by Mendes, Kid Harpoon and Mercereau.

His last release ‘Senorita’ ft. Camila Cabello reached #1 on the TMN Hot 100 in its fifth charting week, with his previous single ‘If I Can’t Have You’ just one frame behind in July 2019.

Mendes is only the second lead artist to simultaneously hold the Top 2 spots on the chart, after pop heavyweight Ed Sheeran achieved the feat in January 2017.

Other tracks to climb in the Top 10 this week are Kygo and Tina Turner with 'What's Love Got To Do With It', Miley Cyrus with 'Midnight Sky' and Jason Derulo's latest 'Take You Dancing'.
