Most Added: The Veronicas prevail in memorable radio showdown

Pop duo The Veronicas emerged as narrow victors over Billie Eilish this week to win one of the closest TMN Most Added To Radio ties in recent times. 

They are the fourth Aussie lead artist to earn the crown in 2019 after Dean Lewis, Sheppard and Amy Shark.

Eilish’s ‘bad guy’ was the clear front-runner in the early stages of the week with across-the-board adds to the Nova network.

However, The Veronicas’ ‘Think Of Me’ hit back with ATB adds to both KIIS stations. This brought the duo within striking distance of Eilish who was added to KIIS on Nights rotation.

The deciding blow was dealt 15 minutes before deadline when Hit92.9 added The Veronicas while opting against Eilish all together.
