Chart Wrap: Jason Derulo on top

Hot 100

At #1 this week is Jason Derulo’s Want To Want Me, which hits the top spot up from last week’s #5. Years & Years’ King hits a new peak of #4 up from #10, now reaching higher than their previous best on the Hot 100 with their feature on The Magician’s track Sunlight peaking at #7. At #7 is a new peak from Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again featuring Charlie Puth, which makes the jump all the way from #71.

Outside the Top 10, Galantis’ Runaway sees a new best of #12 up from #19. Skrillex & Diplo’s Where Are U Now featuring Justin Bieber breaks the Top 20 at #17 up from #21 and Tori Kelly’s Nobody Love moves from #50 to #34. The week’s most moved track has already been mentioned however with Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again hitting #7 up from #71, a total of 64 places.

Only two debuts take place within the Top 50 this week. First at #35 is the latest from Nick Jonas, Chains featuring Jhene Aiko. The next is at #48 with Kygo’s Firestone featuring Conrad Sewell, which finally makes its H100 debut after spending weeks trawling the digital charts. Just narrowly missing out on the Top 50 is Tinashe & Iggy Azalea’s All Hands On Deck, which comes in at #53.

ARIA Singles

Wiz Khalifa remains at #1 on the ARIA Singles chart this week with See You Again featuring Charlie Puth. It’s only possible competition coming in at #3 up from #4 with Skrillex & Diplo’s Where Are U Now featuring Justin Bieber and Galantis’ Runaway at #4 up from #12 which has been receiving a healthy chunk of commercial airplay these last few weeks. Jamie Lawson’s Wasn’t Expecting That also hits a new peak at #7 from #20, as does Years & Years’ King which takes #9 up from #27. Walk The Moon’s Shut Up & Dance sees a healthy amount of sales landing at #17 from #41, while Hozier’s Someone New makes strong movement as well at #24 from #45.

ARIA Albums

Four weeks is how long Lee Kernaghan’s Spirit Of The Anzacs has been at #1 on the ARIA Albums chart. The first new debut comes at #2 with The Wombats’ Glitterbug. Sam Smith’s In The Lonely hour spends its 47th week in the ARIA Albums chart at #5 up from #8, no doubt still banking on the success of Lay Me Down featuring John Legend, as well as the hype for his upcoming Australian tour. Plenty of debuts and even a re-entry occurs in the Top 20 starting with Bette Midler’s It’s The Girls entering at #12, followed by Tyler, The Creator’s Cherry Bomb at #13. #17 sees a re-entry from AC/DC’s Rock Or Bust followed by Shawn Mendes’ Handwritten at #18 and Beccy Cole’s Sweet Rebecca at #19.
