Country music artist Luke Bryan will contend for a place in the Top 10 on the ARIA Albums chart this week. The US superstar’s new album What Makes You Country is tracking well, just in time for Bryan’s first ever Australian performance at next year’s CMC Rocks Festival in Queensland.

Bryan has had just one Top 5 appearance on the chart, with previous album Kill The Lights hitting #4 in 2015. The same album did however peak at #1 on the ARIA Top 40 Country Albums Chart.

Other debuts on the Albums Chart this week include American musical drama The Greatest Showman’s official soundtrack (Top 40) and Barbra Streisand’s live concert album The Music...The Mem’ries...The Magic!, which will also land in the Top 50.

Moving up the chart this week is Australian singer Guy Sebastian with Conscious. He’ll likely land comfortably in the Top 30 this week. Meanwhile, Elton John’s Greatest Hits album Diamonds is poised to push into the Top 15.

The Singles Chart has already moved into holiday mode, with very little movement to be seen. A sole debut from Calum Scott’s ‘You Are The Reason’ will be the only new entrant this week, and is looking likely to drop somewhere around the #40 mark.

Fresh off the group’s ARIA Award for Best Dance Release, PNAU’s latest cut ‘Go Bang’ will make its way to the Top 20 this week, well up from their current position outside the Top 30. Other movers this week include Big Shaq’s ‘Man’s Not Hot’ and G-Eazy & Halsey’s collab ‘Him & I’.
