Alex Warren has turned "Ordinary" into something extraordinary.

When the ARIA Singles Chart was published late Friday, July 18th, Warren’s triple-platinum hit “Ordinary” (via Warner Music) remained glued to the top.

With 17 consecutive weeks at No. 1, “Ordinary" completes the longest stay by an international solo artist on the ARIA Chart. The singer and songwriter’s signature song draws level with “Stay”, The Kid LAROI’s hit collaboration with Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, which also ruled for 17 weeks in 2021-22.

One thing separates those two streaks. “Ordinary” is on an unbroken run at the top, while “Stay” collected its 17 weeks in two bunches -- 14 weeks in 2021 and three weeks in 2022, ARIA reports.

Only one other song in the decades-long history of the ARIA Charts has logged more time at No. 1 -- Australia’s Tones and I with "Dance Monkey," which swept all before it for 24 non-consecutive weeks in 2019 and 2020.

Hailing from California, Warren will tour Australia and New Zealand for the first time next month in support of his new album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid.

The domestic swing of his Cheaper Than Therapy Global Tour 2025 is produced by Frontier Touring, starts Monday, August 18th at Auckland’s The Civic, and wraps up Thursday, August 28th at Perth HPC. All shows are sold out.

A new strain of Bieber Fever is sweeping the ARIA Charts. Justin Bieber's comeback with SWAG sees three tracks make a splash on the singles tally, led by "Daisies" at No. 3, for the week's top debut and his 15th career top 10 appearance. Further down the list, "Go Baby" arrives at No. 18 and "Yukon" makes its appearance at No. 19.

There's considerably more activity on the ARIA Albums Chart, as Bieber's surprise seventh studio album drops in at No. 2. Bieber has notched four No. 1s on the ARIA Chart, and narrowly misses out on a fifth with SWAG, held off the top by Netflix’s soundtrack to KPop Demon Hunters, which holds the crown for a second straight week.

Meanwhile, JackBoys and Travis Scott debut at No. 3 with JackBoys 2, and Wet Leg kick on at No. 4 with their second album, Moisturizer.

No Australian recordings make the cut on this week's ARIA Top 50 Singles or Albums Charts.
