Vevo appoints SVP of research
Bryon Schafer will head up Vevo's research organisation, and will be based in LA.

Music video platform Vevo has hired Bryon Schafer to head up its research organisation.
He joins as SVP of research, and will be based in LA.
Schafer will lead Vevo’s efforts in audience and advertiser research, as well as consumer and artist insights.
“I am delighted to announce that Bryon is joining us,” said Vevo CEO Alan Price.
“He is a highly respected and analytical executive, with extensive digital media experience, whose insight and analysis will help drive the value of the music video.”
Schafer joins from Otter Media, where since 2015 he provided guidance on a range of product, brand, content, marketing, advertising and industry issues for Otter Media and its affiliates, including Crunchyroll, Fullscreen Media, Gunpowder & Sky, Hello Sunshine and VRV.
Prior to Otter Media, he held leadership positions at Warner Bros. Television Group and at Hulu, where from 2008-2013 he served as Hulu’s head of research and sales strategy.
