‘Dance Monkey’ has finally swung into the U.S. charts.

Tones And I’s monster hit debuts at No. 96 on the Billboard 100 chart, dated Oct. 19, and its parent EP The Kids Are Coming enters the Billboard 200 at No. 188.

‘Dance Monkey’ makes its leap thanks to 7.3 million U.S. streams, up 26% from the previous week, and 4.2 million in all-format radio airplay audience, a 6% gain, for the latest tracking cycle, Billboard reports, based on Nielsen Music data.

Tones’ tune also sells 2,000 downloads over the week, up 31%, and it “bullets” at No. 24 on the Alternative Songs airplay survey.

Released via Bad Batch/Elektra in the U.S., the six-song EP The Kids Are Coming enjoys a 14% to 5,000 equivalent album units, for its first appearance on the main albums chart.

'Dance Monkey' is cleaning up pretty much everywhere. The single has led the charts in 13 territories, including a record-busting 11-week streak atop the Australian chart. It’s also eyeing a third-consecutive week at No. 1 in the U.K., and its just gone to the top of the Spotify’s Global Chart, becoming the first homegrown track to do so.

According to Billboard, Alt Nation is testing the EP's title cut and Tones’ debut single 'Johnny Run Away,' now double platinum certified in Australia.

Tones (real name Toni Watson) will play a handful of U.S. dates in mid-to-late November, following a round of shows in the U.K. and Europe. She’ll head back to North America in February 2020 for another, more extensive run of dates.

The former busker, now international heavyweight, is co-managed by Lemon Tree Music and Artists Only, whose managing director Jackson Walkden-Brown tells TIO. “We have not spent a cent on publicity. Not a single cent.”
