Fresh off the back of a 60-date world tour, Timmy Trumpet has joined the A-listers of the EDM world and simultaneously reached a new milestone for Aussie DJs.

He was placed #13 in the annual DJ Mag Top 100 DJ poll, the highest ever placing for any Australian act ever.

Other homegrown acts to appear on the coveted list include NERVO (#24), Alison Wonderland (#44), Will Sparks (#57) and FISHER (#63).

Each year the Top 100 results are broadcast live from AMF Festival in Amsterdam before 40,000 ravers.

This year the Australian joined the A-list line-up for the first time, playing alongside former number ones Tiesto, David Guetta and Armin Van Buuren, and this year's winners Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike.

“I’m so grateful to have the best fans in the world. So many people have supported me from day one, and are still there with me every step of the way," Trumpet told TMN.

“It’s not just people voting for me, some people came to as many as 10 different shows in different countries on my world tour this year. They are the reason I do what I do.”

Artist manager Matt Stafford added: “Timmy Trumpet is definitely one of the most committed artists I have ever worked with.

“Hard work has definitely paid off for Tim and to see the success of sold-out shows and multiple chart hits in so many countries, it’s all very deserved.

“2020 is set up to be the biggest year yet for Tim, and I’m very proud of what he has achieved so far, but as far as we’re concerned we are just getting started!”

Trumpet’s latest single ‘World At Our Feet’ is also charting across Europe, including breaking into the Spotify top 100 in Germany, Hungary and Austria.

The track also hit #1 on the iTunes Electronic chart in Australia, New Zealand and Austria and top 5 on the genre charts in Mexico, Germany and Ireland.

Trumpet’s total combined streams across his career have now hit over 1.2 billion, with ‘World At Our Feet’ generating over 25 million streams alone.

His massive hit ‘Freaks’ featuring Savage reached half a billion streams, and new single ‘Therapy’ ft. Charlott Boss drops on Thursday (October 31).
