There will be another reality singing competition in 2022, with Channel 7 announcing The Voice: Generations is now casting.

The television network said audiences should expect to see the most-talented families - made up of supportive parents, cute kids, gorgeous grandparents, unforgettable siblings, aunts, uncles and blended families - take to the stage.

“The incredible new season of The Voice which debuts after the Olympics is the best yet," he said.

"We are so thrilled with the series, we think it deserves a spin-off and The Voice: Generations is the perfect way to add an exciting new dimension to the format.”

The series will be produced by ITV Studios Australia.

CEO and managing director, David Mott, said The Voice: Generations will create unforgettable, heartfelt moments for everyone to enjoy.
